Deadline for applications: 10 July 2016
Herewith we would like to inform you about the call for applications for the new funding programme CCP Refugees and Migration. Facing recent developments and needs in the field of refugee and migration assistance, this programme offers an adapted concept of the CrossCulture Internships programme (CCP). The programme is implemented by ifa (Insitut für Auslandsbeziehungen) in partnership with the Federal Foreign Office.
CCP Refugees and Migration is open to organisations and their employees in the countries: Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey and Germany.
CCP Refugees and Migration supports non-governmental organisations, public and governmental authorities and institutions in the field of refugee and migration assistance. The funding is subject to a profession-related stay abroad. Integrated in the work of the hosting organisation abroad, opportunities and new ways and forms of information transfers, dialogue, capacity building and networking are established.
The Purpose (Mission)
CCP Refugees and Migration offers a professional internship abroad at a hosting organisation active in the field of refugee and migration assistance to up to 14 scholarship holders. Funding period is five to eight weeks from September to December 2016.
Scholarship holders from Germany conduct an internship in one of the participating countries; scholarship holders from abroad in Germany, exclusively. After the internship the group of scholarship holders conducts a one-week professional training and is involved in dialogue and networking with experts in the field of refugee and migration assistance. All scholarship holders attend this forum in Berlin, which will take place either the first or second week of November.
After the forum, an option of continuation of the internship is provided. The organisation of the programme is managed by ifa. The programme covers all costs. No additional costs evolve for the hosting organisation. Participants of the programme receive a grant to cover their living costs abroad and for the one-week forum in Germany, as well as reimbursement of their travel costs, insurance and visa fees.
These are the targets we want to meet:
